PLAYLIST: 03 MARCH feat. Steven Ervay

Every month the bois pick 5 songs apiece to show y'all what we're listening to. From now on, you can just refer back to this here playlist -- we'll update it instead of making a new one every time.

Oh, and we brought a special guest this time.

For March, we decided to bring in a real [HEAVY HITTER], the Spirit Druid himself, Steven Ervay of Playlistplay fame. Stevie E. contributed 5 tracks he's been digging. Here's what Steven had to say on each track:

Kississippi - Cut Yr Teeth

The songwriting project of Zoe Allair, Kississippi’s latest track, Cut Yr Teeth, accurately depicts the new sound Allair has forged. Traditionally a bit quieter, Kississippi’s upcoming album will be sure to give fans a new spin on her emotional songwriting.

Novellesque - Speak

Novellesque is a studio project from local KC singer/songwriter Patrick Robinson (The Atlantic, Clairaudients). This song is my go-to wind down track; perfect for self reflection and quiet times.

Welles - Seventeen

I was introduced to Welles by my coworkers Nick & Savanna Howland. Seventeen is a perfectly classic track that can find on a home on many of your playlists.

Off Road Minivan - 17 Years

The new project from Ryan Tuck O’Leary of Fit For A King, Off Road Minivan is perfect for grown up emo fans. It’s nice to know all that angst we still feel is validated.

Elton John - Tiny Dancer

I have a lot of memories surrounding this song and this time of year; Tiny Dancer was the theme song to my SXSW 2017 trip. And with Elton John announcing his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” Tour, ugh, here come the waterworks.

Thanks, Steven! Here are the picks from the rest of the bois.
